Delete your account

Xale is provided by Kayu Pte Ltd (UEN 201820276M), whose public service address is One North Crescent, Level 7, Suite 7052, Singapore 138538. You can delete your Xale account and everything in it at any time. This page explains how, and what is removed.
What deleting removes
Deletion permanently removes your account and all of the content attached to it: your notes, mindmaps and lists, tasks, rhythms and projects, any files you uploaded, and your settings. It is irreversible — there is no undo and no grace period.
If you would like to keep a copy first, you can export everything from the app before you delete.
Delete in the app (fastest)
If you can sign in, this is the quickest way and it removes your data immediately:
- Open Xale on the web or the installed app.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Choose Delete my account, then type delete everything to confirm.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, email support@xale.app from the address connected to your Xale account and include the word "delete". We verify that the request comes from the account owner and then delete the account and its content. We complete verified requests promptly — within 30 days at the latest, and usually much sooner.
Your subscription
If you have an active Xale Pro subscription, deleting your account cancels it so you are not charged again. Deletion is not a refund — any refund is handled separately under the Refund Policy.
What is retained, and why
Records of past transactions — invoices and tax records — are retained by the payment provider (Stripe and its affiliate Sold through Link, LLC) and by Kayu for the period required by law, such as tax and accounting rules. These are billing records, not your Xale content, and they are kept only as long as the law requires.
